In order to get maximum production out of your hatcheries, you’re going to want to have about five drones to each one of them. When it is time to expand your Zerg hatcheries, you should consider when would be the best time to do so. To make this decision, you need to do a small test. A good Starcraft 2 tips guide should advise to let your hatcheries run idle until each one hits three larvae. When this completes, take a look at your minerals. Is it at three hundred minerals? If it is, then you can build another hatchery and then produce five more drones for that hatchery.
